About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Barty has previously held senior speech pathology roles at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth and the Centre for Cerebral Palsy, Western Australia. Like many of our Eastside therapists, she is experienced in working with both children and adults. She has been a speech pathologist for more than 30 years working in varied settings both in Australia and the United States.
She has experience in using PROMPT therapy and has completed introduction and bridging courses. She has extensive experience working with children with cerebral palsy. She has worked with families at The Centre for Cerebral Palsy, Western Australia, as a speech pathologist, specialist clinician, and then managed the early intervention program for 6 years. Elizabeth also has extensive experience in adult and paediatric swallowing disorders and management. She has extensive experience in working with children and adults with complex needs.
Elizabeth has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) and a Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) . She is passionate about providing effective evidence-based contemporary therapy to individuals and their families.
