Joanna loves working with children who have challenges communicating. She is passionate about actively engaging with families, teachers and other professionals involved in your child’s care to ensure communication goals are achieved.
Joanna has experience in assessing and treating children with speech delays, literacy difficulties, and a range of language disorders. She is experienced in treating children’s and adult’s stuttering using the Lidcombe and Camperdown Programs. She has be trained in Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk”. Joanna has done the advanced PROMPT(c) Bridging training.
She speaks fluent Greek and has experience in working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, which contributes to her ability to develop strong relationships with all families.
Joanna is experienced in using Key Word Sign and helping early communicators make themselves understood. She has dedicated her time in volunteering to working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
