About Kalliope
Kalliope enjoys helping children and adults communicate successfully and meaningfully. Her warm and positive approach allows her to provide effective and engaging therapy to help clients reach their goals.
She has experience working with children and adults with a variety of communication difficulties, including: speech, language and literacy difficulties as well as developmental delays. She works with children and adults with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay and Intellectual Disability.
Kalliope has worked within multidisciplinary teams and values the collaboration with families, teachers and other allied health professionals to ensure clients reach their full potential.
She is PROMPT © trained and has experience delivering the Lidcombe Program for preschool and school age stuttering. She is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and LAMP Words for Life and has experience using Key Word Sign.
Kalliope speaks Greek conversationally and enjoys tailoring therapy for clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
