Tina Cai

Tina loves working together with children and adults to help them conquer the barriers to their communication. She is passionate about involving families, partners, teachers and other professionals to provide holistic care for her clients.

She enjoys working together to provide the best possible outcome for her clients. Tina has experience working with children with speech sound disorders/delays, developmental language delays and literacy difficulties including dyslexia. She works with children with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Agnosis of the Corpus Collosum and Intellectual Disability. She has also worked with children with selective mutism.

She is experienced in treating individuals who stutter using the Lidcombe and Camperdown Programs. She is trained in HANEN ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ and DIR/Sensory Connections ‘The Action is in the Interaction’ and has experience using Key Word Sign. Tina has done PROMPT Bridging training.

She speaks Shanghainese (dialect of Mandarin) and conversational Mandarin. She has experience working with and assessing clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, which contributes to her ability to develop strong connections with all families.
