Telehealth was initially used for rural and remote communities but recently has been used for families who are not able to physically get to a speech therapy clinic for whatever reason.

COVID19 has meant that we need to change how we work and access health services. Telehealth has become an important service that we offer at our clinic.

If you have access to a phone, iPad or computer, you can easily access a speech therapy telehealth session.

Research has shown that telehealth is a reliable and feasible way to assess and treat the needs of children and adults of various ages. Successful consultations can be provided for most areas of speech therapy including stuttering, literacy, speech and language difficulties, pronunciation problems, accent improvement, and early language development.
