Why did I become a speech pathologist?
I knew that I wanted to pursue a path of helping others when I finished high school, but was torn between the arts and the sciences. I decided to study speech pathology because it is a great blend of the two! I have come to deeply appreciate the help that a speech pathologist provides, especially as communication is the core of interaction and relationship—it is how we know others and are known by others.
Why do I love working at Eastside?
The warmth of my colleagues and the fantastic work culture which prioritises relationships and person-centredness.
